So, let’s start off with the basics:
A Keto diet or ketogenic diet and generally a LCHF diet is, in essence, a high natural fat, moderate protein and low carbohydrate dietary plan. The Keto diet has been used medically to reduce type 2 diabetes and there is evidence that it is effective in Autism, epilepsy, cancer and Alzheimers treatments, and most significantly Insulin Resistance (IR)
The single most important thing you can change in your life is the food you eat, meaning your diet. More important than exercise!
The Keto way is not a diet fad and is NOT a “lose weight in 1 week fast” type deal. Although if you follow keto correctly, weight loss is a benefit to the keto way.
For nearly 50 years Nutritionists got it wrong, low-fat diets are unsustainable and detrimental for your health and metabolism. The science now shows that this so-called conventional diet has been the single reason for increased obesity, diabetes and heart disease.
Noakes amongst others were able to show that the current acceptable healthy diets had their research funded by those who made their money through sugar, carbohydrates and the pharmaceutical industry. In fact, there is an amazing piece of research done in support of the low-fat diet that actually disproves its own theory. Noakes was able to explain this in his book, (Lore of Nutrition). I would highly recommend reading this as it changed my mind instantly and was an eye opener on just how powerful the above industries are in controlling our Doctors.
Getting started on Keto should be a slow easy process. Keto is not a “lose weight by the weekend” type deal. We provide you with the pre keto meal plan here.

So, just like you, I got onto google at searched the web, YouTube, books, the lot. And quickly realised that there was a ton of information out there on 7 day eating plans, supplements, and general advice. Putting this all together, I had a rough idea of what to do and how to start.

Common Misunderstandings of Keto
There is a lot of information out there on the Keto diet and LCHF diets, and most of it is very misleading and simply untrue.
Keto is not a “free for all” on eating as much as you want.
It is not, an eat anything with fat in it.
